Events at Mojo's

Lessons are only part of it. Mojo's students get on a real stage: recitals, a summer camp band, and workshops throughout the year.

Student Recitals

Mojo's holds regular student recitals, in the studio and outdoors, where students of every age and instrument take the stage in front of family and friends. It's a running tradition, not a one-off: past recitals have featured singers, guitarists, and full bands of students performing together.

Summer Music Camp

Every summer, Mojo's runs a music camp for ages 11 to 16. Each camp is one week long, and camps are available for eight weeks during the summer. Kids form a band, learn their instruments together, and finish with a live performance. It's been a summer tradition at Mojo's for years, and campers walk away having played in front of a real audience, most for the first time.

"My grandson (7th grade) has been taking electric bass lessons at Mojo's for over a year. After a week long summer music camp he participated in, I went to the culminating show the group did yesterday. Wow! Paul and Jessica obviously give the kids their all and care deeply about them. For a group of kids that started the week not knowing each other, they gave a killer performance of five songs, including one original tune!"

"Mojo's Music Academy is absolutely amazing. I love this place SO much. The camps are SO fun, and exciting. Its also a great place to meet and play with new people that you've probably never met or played with before. The people and music they're is so alive, and I overall love it all so much."
