Student Success Stories

Some students take a few years of lessons and move on with a lifelong love of music. Others keep going: onto stages, into college music programs, and into careers.

Dakota Allison studied voice and piano starting at age 6 with Jessica Rogalski. Jasper Allison studied drums starting at age 5 with our former teacher Steve Saviano. Jasper also starred in musicals in high school. They both were accepted to Southern Utah University with a focus on commercial music. Currently Dakota is a senior with a major in psychology and a minor in music, and Jasper is graduating from DVLP Academy in Denver as a recording engineer.

They both participated in many opportunities at Mojo's, such as recitals, Rock 'n' Roll Summer Camps, and winning the Colorado Blues Society Challenge teen event that sent them to perform on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Hard work, talent, and dedication to their craft have shaped these young musicians, and we are proud to see them grow and follow their dreams.
